Stephanie and her team at The Estate Planner, LLC care deeply about their clients. They are devoted to helping people navigate all seasons of life through estate planning and elder law plans, including wills and trusts, powers of attorney, long-term care planning, special needs planning, probate, and trust administration. They know that custom estate planning can improve lives and prevent crises when people are faced with difficult and emotional decisions.

Stephanie received her law degree from the University of Texas with high honors in 1992 and began her legal career as a trial lawyer with Baker Botts in Houston, Texas. She also worked with Foley Hoag in Boston, Massachusetts and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, New York and Palo Alto, California. Immediately before starting her firm, she was an estate planning attorney with TuckerAllen in St. Louis. Besides Estate Planning and Elder Law, her legal career has included areas of expertise ranging from litigating products liability cases and advising clients on corporate formalities to representing the underwriters of large hedge fund credit facilities and technology Initial Public Offerings.

Stephanie has served on the board of a variety of professional service societies. She is a member of WealthCounsel and the Estate Planning Council. She also serves on the executive board of Laumeier Sculpture Park, a nonprofit organization devoted to engaging the community through art and nature. In her free time, Stephanie practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is both a Masters’ World Champion and Pan American Champion, and she also enjoys anything outdoors, from hiking to camping and skiing. She has three sons and Gizmo, the pug, all of whom keep her busy, active, and happy!
